He directed shelling of Cherkasy region: SSU detains FSB agent. PHOTO

Another FSB agent was detained in Cherkasy, who was directing the enemy shelling of the city.

This was reported by the Security Service, Censor.NET reports.

As noted, the enemy's accomplice was a 33-year-old local resident. He was preparing coordinates for Russian missile and drone attacks in the region. To adjust the fire damage, the agent received a list of approximate geolocations from his Russian supervisor where he was to conduct additional reconnaissance.

It is reported that among the enemy's priority targets were training centers of the State Border Guard Service and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including barracks where soldiers lived.

It was established that the offender drove his car around the locations where, in the opinion of the enemy, Ukrainian defenders were based. Under the FSB's instructions, the traitor was filming the outer perimeter of the facilities and the presence of personnel and military equipment on their territory.

After the reconnaissance missions, the agent would return home and prepare a "report" for his Russian supervisor. If the intelligence was confirmed, the occupiers probably planned to attack the "targets" with missiles and kamikaze drones.

SSU officers exposed the agent at the initial stage of his subversive activities. After documenting his crimes, he was detained red-handed while conducting reconnaissance near a military facility. At the scene, the SSU seized a mobile phone with evidence of his work for the enemy.

The traitor was served a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law). The offender is in custody without the right to be released on bail. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
