Russians attacked Kostiantynivka twice: two rescuers, two policemen and head of CMA were wounded. PHOTO (updated)

Today, on 17 February, Russian troops opened fire on rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine as they were delivering water to civilians in Konstiantynivka, Donetsk region.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.

"Today, in Konstantinovka, Donetsk region, Russian occupiers opened fire on rescuers while they were delivering life-saving water. According to preliminary data, the attack was carried out from an FPV drone," the statement said.

It is noted that as a result of the shelling, two rescuers were injured, and a tanker truck for the supply of drinking water was also damaged.

The victims were reportedly taken to a hospital in Kostiantynivka, their condition is assessed as moderate.

According to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk RMA, according to preliminary information, the enemy attacked the city twice with FPV drones. The first strike was on a water tanker truck, and the second on an evacuation team that came to help two wounded rescuers.

The second strike injured three other people: two police officers and the head of the local military administration.
