Four soldiers who, instead of serving in the army, were building a house for the relatives of the military unit commander, were served with suspicion notices.
This was reported by the press service of the Special Prosecutor's Office of the Western Region, Censor.NET reports.

According to the investigation, four soldiers agreed to the illegal offer of the commander of the military unit and instead of serving in the army, they built a house for his close relatives in Khmelnytskyi.
At that time, the soldiers were entitled to statutory payments. The total amount was about 1 million hryvnias.
During the authorised searches of the military unit, the homes of the commander and servicemen, as well as the construction site, documents and other material evidence were seized.
Punishment for the commander
Prosecutors are currently preparing a civil lawsuit to compensate the state for the damage caused.
