How the student was recruited

According to the investigation, an 18-year-old Kharkiv resident, who is a student at a local university, established contact with a representative of the Russian Federation via the Telegram messenger.

He received a task from his hostile supervisor to find and set fire to the car of a Ukrainian soldier. The student was promised a reward of $1,000 for his "work".

Spoiler alert: he did not receive the money.

What did the student do?

On 9 March this year, the young man went to the store of the well-known Aurora chain, where he bought bottles of flammable substance. On the same day, late in the evening, the student saw a car of a Ukrainian serviceman in the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv. He smashed the car's windscreen and set it on fire.
