During day, Russian drone attacks targeted Kherson and region: three people were injured and fires broke out. PHOTOS
On the afternoon of 1 April, Russian troops shelled the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson from a drone: a woman was wounded. In the evening, the enemy attacked the city again, and a fire broke out.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military District Administration, Censor.NET reports.
Kherson
- At around 1:20 p.m., Russian troops attacked a woman in Kherson with a drone. The 59-year-old Kherson resident sustained explosive injuries and amputation of her limbs as a result of the drone's explosive drop. The victim was taken to hospital in serious condition. Doctors continue to fight for her life.
- At around 6.15 p.m., Russian proxies attacked a resident of Kherson in Dniprovskyi district with a drone. As a result of the explosion, a woman born in 1976 sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to her legs. The victim was taken to hospital. Her condition is assessed as moderate.
"Tonight, the Russian army shelled the city of Kherson. As a result of the hits, an outbuilding in one of the city's districts was destroyed and caught fire," the State Emergency Service said.
As noted, rescuers arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire despite the threat of repeated shelling.
"There were no casualties among the population," the SES added.
Kherson region. Antonivka
- Around 11:30 a.m., a 50-year-old man came under attack from an enemy drone in Antonivka. Police officers took the Kherson man to hospital with shrapnel wounds to his buttock and foot. The man's condition is moderate.
As a reminder, the curfew in Kherson region has been reduced from 1 April: it will now start an hour later and end an hour earlier.
