Soldiers of the Izmail border guard detachment captured a 61-year-old contractor occupier in the Sumy direction.

This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service, Censor.NET reports.

The prisoner said that he had been on a mission to deliver food to the frontline positions of his unit, but got lost and spent a day and a half trying to find his way back to his unit. During the interrogation, he also said that he was serving under a contract that he was forced to sign by Russian police.

"By the way, the contract soldier is not too young - he is 61 years old, and came to fight from Murmansk. At present, he has been handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation," the border guards said.
