It is noted that the "Dzhura-EVAC" is manufactured at a Ukrainian enterprise that has many years of experience in the production of armoured vehicles. The evacuation vehicle has a powerful diesel engine, a 4x4 wheel configuration and a reliable manual transmission. To perform tasks in off-road conditions and difficult terrain, the manufacturer has improved the vehicle's chassis, installed reinforced front and rear suspensions, off-road tyres, strengthened brakes, etc.

The evacuation vehicle has a modular layout and can accommodate six people, including the driver and an accompanying combat medic. The body of this evacuation vehicle has ballistic protection against small arms bullets, shrapnel, explosions of engineered ammunition, etc.

In addition, the "Dzhura-EVAC" is equipped with important systems for transporting the wounded: it has video surveillance, light camouflage, means of countering attacks by enemy UAVs, ventilation, air conditioning, an automatic stretcher loading system, etc.

"In the war with the Russian aggressor, when the enemy does not adhere to any conventions and uses various means of destruction against medics and their vehicles, evacuating a wounded soldier is often a difficult and dangerous task. This is where evacuation vehicles play a crucial role. Its driving characteristics, ballistic protection, and the availability of means to counter attacks by enemy UAVs. Often, the chances of successfully completing evacuation tasks in difficult situations depend on these factors," said Deputy Minister of Defence Valerii Churkin.

He also noted that the Defence Forces are currently using many models of various domestic and foreign vehicles to evacuate wounded soldiers from the battlefield: armoured vehicles on wheeled or tracked chassis, all-terrain vehicles, light manoeuvrable buggies and quad bikes, and robotic platforms. Depending on resources and the combat situation, the most appropriate type of transport is used to evacuate the wounded. Adding to the fleet of evacuation armoured vehicles means more opportunities to save our soldiers.
