Two brothers, aged 21 and 22, are suspected of the premeditated murder of an acquaintance due to a conflict that arose during a feast over listening to Russian music.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, Censor.NET informs.
According to the investigation, the suspects were in the apartment with the victim. While drinking alcohol, they turned on Russian music, which the 29-year-old man objected to. The quarrel escalated into a fight.
One of the brothers stabbed his acquaintance several times, after which the other hit the wounded man on the head with a saucepan. The man died on the spot from his injuries.
The suspects were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. The Prosecutor 's Office filed a motion with the court to impose on them a custodial measure of restraint.
The case was classified under Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder). The article provides for up to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.
