On safety belts in tanker with oil: Odesa resident tried to illegally get to Moldova - SBGS. PHOTOS

Border guards found the offender suspended in an oil tanker by safety belts. He was trying to illegally travel to Moldova.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service, Censor.NET informs.

"Yesterday, a truck with a tank driven by a Moldovan citizen was leaving Ukraine through the 'Mamalyha' checkpoint. The shipping documents indicated that the cargo was vegetable oil. During the inspection of the vehicle, the border patrol found that the hatch of one of the tanker compartments had special fasteners on which a man was suspended," the statement said.

It is noted that in this way, a citizen of Ukraine born in 1982, a resident of Odesa region, tried to illegally leave for Moldova. He agreed with a familiar driver that he would take him out in a cargo tank.

The State Border Guard Service said that the man had travelled from Vinnytsia to the checkpoint in a suspended state, immersed almost up to his chest in oil.

Administrative reports were drawn up against him for attempting to illegally cross the border. The truck driver was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. Border guards see signs of a criminal offence under Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine", and sent a report to the National Police.
