A satellite image confirms that Ukrainian drones damaged a barracks on the grounds of Russia’s 112th Guards Missile Brigade in the city of Shuya, Ivanovo region. This unit was involved in the April 13 attack on Sumy. The UAV strikes took place on April 16 and 17.
According to Censor.NET, the relevant images were published by Radio Liberty.
The satellite photo also confirms the exact geolocation of the damaged barracks, which was previously possible thanks to the video taken by the military after the strike.
The base of the 112th Missile Brigade in Shuya, 700 kilometres from Ukraine, was hit by two drone strikes on 16 and 17 April.
As a reminder, on 16 April, the 112th Guards Missile Brigade (military unit 03333) was attacked in Shuya, Ivanovo region of the Russian Federation.
It was this unit that attacked the city of Sumy with ballistic missiles on Palm Sunday.
