Boiler explosion in Odesa region destroys residential house. PHOTOS
In the Odesa district, an electric boiler exploded during the day, seriously damaging a residential house. The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 17, in one of the settlements in the region.
According to Censor.NET, citing the State Emergency Service press service, the emergency occurred in the village of Rozselenets.
What is known about the incident
According to preliminary data, the emergency was caused by the malfunction of an electrical appliance.
As a result of the explosion, the building suffered significant damage, but there were no casualties.
Emergency services worked at the scene, inspecting the damaged building and checking for possible risks of further fires or explosions.
SES recommendations during power outages
In connection with the incident, rescuers are calling on citizens to follow basic electrical safety rules, especially in conditions of unstable power supply:
- always unplug electrical appliances when power goes out;
- do not leave boilers, heaters, and other high-power equipment turned on unattended;
- regularly check electrical equipment and the condition of wiring.
The State Emergency Service emphasises that following these simple rules can prevent serious accidents and save lives and property.
