This was reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine, according to Censor.NET.
Details
The Russians tasked the woman with finding and transmitting the coordinates of small transformer substations in microdistricts, as well as high-voltage facilities that supply Odesa.
Who worked for the enemy?
A 48-year-old local unemployed woman was detained after being recruited by Russian special services on a Telegram channel for "easy money".
The agent travelled around the city on public transport, recording the territory of energy facilities on her smartphone.
The woman also walked around the perimeter of power substations to identify damage and determine their technical condition after recent shelling.
She sent the information she collected to her FSB handler via messenger. In particular, in addition to photos with markings on Google Maps, she "reported" on the stages of restoration work at the facilities.
The woman was detained at her place of residence when, after returning from a reconnaissance trip, she was preparing a "report" for her supervisor in Russia.
During searches, two mobile phones were seized from her, which she used to collect intelligence and contact the FSB.
She has been notified of suspicion of high treason. She is currently in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
