Russian forces attacked Zolochiv: 5 people injured, houses destroyed. PHOTO
Five people were injured as a result of a Russian attack on Zolochiv in the Kharkiv region.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the regional prosecutor’s office press centre.
According to the investigation, at around 02:25 a.m. on 18 March, Russian forces launched an attack using an unmanned aerial vehicle, believed to be a ‘Geran-2’ type, on the village of Zolochiv in the Bohodukhiv district.
Residential buildings hit
As a result of the enemy attack, one residential building was destroyed, and another was partially damaged. Other properties were also damaged.
Five local residents suffered acute stress reactions. Among them were two men and three women.
Under the procedural guidance of the Bohodukhiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Shelling of the Kharkiv region over the past 24 hours
According to the Regional Military Administration, over the past 24 hours, the city of Kharkiv and nine settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy attack.
Eight people were injured as a result of the shelling.
In the village of Zarichne, Starosaltivska community, two women aged 55 and 79 suffered acute stress reactions; in the village of Slatine, Dergachivska community, a 41-year-old man was wounded; in the village of Zolochiv, men aged 53 and 56 and women aged 56, 45 and 39 were injured.
The enemy attacked the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv with UAVs.
The enemy actively used various types of weaponry in the Kharkiv region:
▪️9 KABs;
▪️5 Geran-2 UAVs;
▪️2 FPV drones;
▪️10 UAVs (type to be confirmed).
Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:
- a warehouse building was damaged in Kharkiv;
- in the Bohodukhiv district, 4 private houses were damaged (village of Zolochiv);
- in the Izium district, a warehouse was damaged (the village of Volokhiv Yar);
- in the Kharkiv district, a private house was damaged (village of Budy);
- in the Chuhuiv district, 4 private houses, 6 outbuildings, a garage (village of Zarichne), railway infrastructure (town of Zmiiv) and a private house (village of Zatoka) were damaged.
