One person was killed and four were injured as result of Russian strike on village of Maidan in Donetsk region. PHOTOS

Today, 21 March 2026, the Russian army shelled the village of Maidan in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk region, resulting in fatalities and injuries.

This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, according to Censor.NET.

What is known

As noted, a residential area came under fire from a "Lancet" UAV.

In the area where the munitions struck, 35 private homes and cars were damaged.

Casualties of the attack

It is reported that as a result of the enemy attack:

A 63-year-old woman was killed,
four civilians sustained injuries – a 30-year-old man, women aged 52 and 65, and a 15-year-old boy.

Victims with blast injuries, traumatic brain injuries, shrapnel wounds, fractures, lacerations, contusions and concussion were taken to a medical facility, where they are receiving specialist care.
