Kostiantynivka under daily attacks by occupiers: once thriving city, now not single building remains intact – footage from 24th Mechanised Brigade. VIDEO
Ukrainian defenders have released footage from Kostiantynivka, which is under daily attack by Russian occupiers.
According to Censor.NET, the town is under intense attack involving aerial bombs, artillery and strike drones, which are systematically destroying residential areas.
In the once-thriving town, there are practically no buildings left standing – a significant part of the infrastructure has been reduced to ruins.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian defenders from the 24th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after King Danylo are holding their defences on the eastern approaches to Kostiantynivka, holding back the advance of Russian troops towards the city.
- It was also reported that on 6 March, Russian troops dropped a FAB-500 guided bomb on the dam of a reservoir near Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, causing flooding of part of the area and posing a threat to residential and critical infrastructure.
