“Geisha” operation: Russian Grads, Gvozdikas, and Rapiras revealed in Donbas. PHOTOS
Ukrainian volunteers identified Russia equipment and weapons with caliber over 100-mm in service with militants of self-proclaimed “Donetsk People’s Republic.”
This was announced by InformNapalm international volunteer community, Censor.NET reports. The volunteers conducted identification using photos from e-mail inboxes on the so-called "MGB" of "DPR" and the 1st separate motorized rifle brigade of the "DPR" (military units 08801, village of Komsomolske, the Donetsk region).
Original data for the investigation were received from Myrotvorets (Peacemaker) center, who managed to identify 50 militants of the so-called 1st army corps of the Russian-terrorist troops in the "DPR" in a special operation called 'Geisha.' They revealed a network of informants on territories controlled by the Ukrainian government. The network was led by "MGB DRP" employee Elena Geyshtorova, who managed gathering of information on personnel, redeployment and dislocation of Ukrainian army units and was passing this information to the Russian military command.
Employees of Myrotvorets obtained access to an e-mail inbox of "MGB DPR" thanks to Geyshtorova's negligence. In the inbox, they found images showing serial numbers of equipment and weapons of over 100-mm caliber withdrawn under the Minsk accords. The images were passed to InformNapalm for analysis and subsequent publication.
"The withdrawn equipment is in service with the "1st separate mechanized rifle brigade," with Major P.Belopashentsev in charge of the artillery. Exact location of the storage facility has been identified by geolocation expert surpher: it is located near Ulianivske, the Donetsk region," the authors of the article note.
The following equipment has been revealed through the analysis of the images by "MGB DPR":
- Four Grad BM-21 MLRSes based on Ural-375D in good condition, with new tires and camouflage nets: BM-21 #8056, BM-21 #2119, BM-21 #5139, and BM-21 # РГ5073И.

- Five self-propelled guns 2S1 Gvozdika in good condition: 2S1 # 979183 (made in 1989), 2S1 #971109 (made in 1981), 2S1 #975218 (made in 1985), 2S1 #8904018 (made in 1989), and 2S1 #976218 (made in 1986).

- Two anti-tank cannons MT-12 Rapira in good condition: МТ -12 #04165 (made in 1974), МТ -12 #03229 (made in 1973).

"Surpher has also provided a link to a story by a Russian propaganda TV channel made in Ulianivske. The story is about monitors from OSCE SMM visiting the base in Ulianivske and checking the equipment plate numbers. The story shows two Urals-4320. This model has been produced since 1994, but Ukraine received no units of such equipment," the authors note.

One of the stills shows an OSCE monitor's notebook with anti-tank cannons' plate numbers - 04165 and 03229, which coincide with those from the "MGB DPR" inbox.

OSCE SMM reports also include information about these units of equipment of the "DPR" terrorists.
The authors of the article noted that Russian-terrorist troops regularly practice hiding and substitution of weapons of caliber higher than 100-mm that could not be seized from Ukrainian units, as evidenced by the above mentioned Urals. This means that the weapons of the terrorists are supplied by the Russian Federation in violation of the Minsk deal, the investigation concludes.
