Russian missile strike on Pryluky: 9th-grader Andrii Suknistyi killed. PHOTO

It has been established that the teenager who died during the Russian missile strike on Pryluky on 19 May was 15-year-old Andriy Suknistyi, a Year 9 pupil at Pryluky Gymnasium No. 14.

This was reported by the school’s headteacher, Maksym Pravdyvets, according to Censor.NET, citing "Suspilne".

According to him, the boy’s birthday was due to be on 2 June; he was due to turn 16.

What led up to this?

• It was previously reported that the death toll from the Russian strike on Pryluky had risen to three: a 15-year-old boy who was wounded died in hospital.
• As of 20 May, the death toll had risen to four, with 30 people wounded in the region over the past 24 hours.
