Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia: industrial facility and private house damaged. PHOTO
On the night of 2 June, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region, launching a series of strikes on the regional capital and civilian infrastructure.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.
According to him, the enemy launched at least 20 strikes using various types of weaponry against the regional centre.
One of the strikes hit an industrial infrastructure facility within the city. Information regarding possible casualties is being verified.
It later emerged that a private residential building had been damaged. The roof was destroyed by the strike, but there were reportedly no casualties.
Emergency services are currently continuing to survey the areas and document the consequences of the shelling. Further details are being confirmed.
