Rescue workers have dealt with the aftermath of the Russian Federation’s nighttime attack on Kyiv.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the State Emergency Service press centre.
Consequences of the attack
As noted, following the overnight enemy shelling of the capital, staff from the Kyiv State Emergency Service were deployed to deal with the aftermath in the Darnytskyi district of the city.
A garage bay and cars were on fire in an open area covering a total of 300 square metres. The fire has been extinguished.
At another location, the State Emergency Service’s pyrotechnic unit was deployed. Together with the Kyiv National Police’s bomb disposal unit, the warhead and safe debris from an enemy missile were recovered.
What led up to this?
It was previously reported that explosions were heard in Kyiv during an air raid alert on the night of 28 June. Russian forces launched a missile strike using ballistic weapons.
By the morning, it emerged that two people had been injured as a result of the Russian Federation’s ballistic missile strike on Kyiv, and fires had broken out in the Darnytskyi district.
