EOD specialists neutralize enemy drone warhead in Nizhyn district. PHOTOS
In the Nizhyn district of Chernihiv region, explosives experts of the National Police neutralized the warhead of a Russian attack drone that had not detonated after it was shot down by Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
"Officers of the explosives service department of the Chernihiv region police once again successfully responded to a call about the discovery of an unexploded warhead of an enemy attack drone shot down by Ukraine’s Defense Forces in Chernihiv district," the statement said.
Remains of attack UAV in Nizhyn district
Police received information about the discovery of the remains of an enemy attack UAV in Nizhyn district. The drone was found in an open area, and its warhead had not detonated.
Police explosives experts inspected the remains of the drone and its warhead. For safety reasons, the specialists decided to destroy the warhead on site while observing all precautionary measures.
Police remind citizens of the need to be extremely careful if they discover any ammunition or suspicious objects.
