Three miners were killed in the Kryvyi Rih area while carrying out underground work.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Rescuers recovered the bodies of the victims from the mine
As a result of the emergency, three workers became trapped at the lowest point of the mine shaft, at the -1,568-metre level, where water accumulates.
Mine rescuers from the State Paramilitary Mine Rescue Squad of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine found the body of one miner on a service platform.
Two other workers were submerged under water. Divers from the mine rescue unit were deployed to locate and recover them.
The bodies of all three victims were recovered using climbing equipment. They were then transported through the mine workings to the surface.
Earlier, it was reported that emergency rescue operations had been completed at the site of a strike on a shopping centre in Kryvyi Rih.
