Kyiv bids last farewell to fallen Aidar fighters Kochetov, Saiuk. PHOTOS

A farewell ceremony for killed Aidar Battalion fighters Serhii "Kot" Kochetov and Mykola "Frantsuz" Saiuk took place today on Maidan Nazalezhnosti Square in Kyiv.

The soldiers were killed during a combat mission on Nov. 2.

Mykola Saiuk, 28, hailing from the Berezne district in the Rivne region, went to the front as a volunteer soldier back in 2014. He was in charge of mortar platoon's communications unit.

Serhii Kochetov, 30, resident of the Dubno district, the Rivne region, was a senior mortar operator. He enrolled in service in early 2015.
