Our fighters are ready to move forward and occupy city - Kadyrov says his soldiers are ready to replace Wagner PMC in Bakhmut. VIDEO

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that his units could take over Bakhmut if Wagner PMC left.

According to Censor.NET, this is stated in his statement posted in a telegram.

Kadyrov stated: "I am addressing Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces and the founder of the Wagner PMC.

I, like everyone who cares about the fate of our country, am disappointed to hear Evgeny Viktorovich's latest statements and doubly disappointed that the Russian Ministry of Defence has not commented or met with the leadership of the Wagner PMC to make any decision or clarification. If nothing else, Prigozhin deserves respect for the invaluable contribution of Wagner's men to the liberation of Donbas cities. If there is a shortage, it should be explained, shown, on the basis of which the commanders of the Wagner units will at least adjust their tactics without relying on artillery.

I recall the experience of Chechen units in Mariupol. When we needed five tanks from the Ministry of Defence to support the infantry, we were only able to get one, whose crew abandoned the vehicle in the first battle. We had to calm the tankers down, set them up for battle and put them back into the vehicle so that they could cover at least one position of the Azov Satanists with volleys. There were also problems with other equipment. Since the beginning of the JFO, we have not been able to replace 30 artillery pieces. I personally called Moscow, talked to the commanders, commanders, and superiors. In a month, the problem was solved. Yes, it didn't work out on the first call. But our units did not record videos, did not give the enemy a pleasant information opportunity.

...By the way, filming the bodies of fallen comrades-in-arms for the sake of publicity... is wrong. Let's never do this.

For example, the area of responsibility of Apta Alaudinov, my dear brother, commander of the Akhmat special forces, deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces, includes more than a hundred kilometres of the contact line with the enemy. Not a day goes by without him having problems. But Apti Aronovych has never said anything about it on the Internet, only by internal communication with his superiors. I would like to point out that the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff, with rare exceptions, have always met the Chechen units halfway and helped them. And misunderstandings are always present in ordinary peaceful life, not to mention in war, where there is always a shortage of ammunition! I really hope that Sergei Kuzugetovich will listen to my appeal and allow the General Staff to go to the site and sort things out. This is the only and soldierly correct way out of the situation.

Chechen units fought side by side with Wagner's men in the most difficult areas in Popasna, Severodonetsk, Lysychansk and other settlements of Donbass. Together, they performed their sacred duty to their homeland without regard to nationality or faith. The interests of the state and the security of the country must come first. And when the JFO is over, I would like all of us, every soldier, every commander, every Russian patriot, to be the winners. Together.

So, if the elder brother Prigozhin and Wagner leave, the General Staff will lose an experienced combat unit, and its place in Artemivsk will be taken by the younger brother Kadyrov and Akhmat. If this scenario does happen, our fighters are ready to move out and take the city. It is a matter of a few hours. But we would like to take the remaining two kilometres of the city not at the cost of soldiers' lives, but as a result of mutual understanding, support, and the determination of the command and fighters to carry out the order of Russia's Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin."
