This person should definitely not be in manning system of Ukrainian Armed Forces, - Zelenskyy about Odesa Military Commissar Borysov. VIDEO
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy traditionally addressed Ukrainians on evening of 23 June.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in Zelensky's telegram.
The statement reads: "Results of this busy day. A meeting on the results of the London Conference on Ukraine's recovery. A very informative meeting of the National Security and Defence Council.
Meeting of the Stavka. Justice is also a very important point of our discussion at the Stavka. It concerns the military commissars, in particular the scandal with the... figure in Odesa. This person should definitely not be part of the Armed Forces recruitment system. It is very unpleasant, frankly immoral and wrong that this person remained in his position despite everything. I have instructed Chief Commander Zaluzhny to remove this person from office. And the First Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Pavlyuk was instructed to organise an audit of the entire system of military commissars. It is a pity that the attention and time of the Stavka has to be spent on such issues.
I had the honour to congratulate the officers of our military educational institutions on their graduation.
Today is the Day of Civil Service in our country. I would like to thank all our people who, given the current conditions and resources in the country, are doing everything in their power to make the state effective. And, of course, the frontline. My gratitude and respect to our soldiers. To each and every one who is fighting for the life and freedom of Ukraine."
