The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valerii Zaluzhnyi discussed with the Chief of the General Staff of the AFU Serhii Shaptala and Commander of the AFU Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk the issue of strengthening air defense and the use of aviation weapons.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported in Zaluzhnyi`s official telegram.
The statement reads: "We worked at one of the control points of the Air Force of Ukraine. We discussed key issues with the Chief of the General Staff and the Air Force Commander related to strengthening air defense, the use of aviation weapons and the protection of critical infrastructure in the autumn and winter.
I am grateful to our pilots, anti-aircraft gunners, specialists of radio engineering troops, electronic warfare, communications and logistics, intelligence of the Air Force, who provide results every day! Every day our wings and shield are getting stronger, every day we are closer to our goal!"
