"Sania held on for a long time". Capture, torture and life imprisonment of marine Oleksandr Svynarchuk. VIDEO

For two years, Oleksandr Svynarchuk, a company commander of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade named after Bilinsky, has been held in Russian captivity. In April 2022, some marines managed to break through to Azovstal from the territory of the Ilyich plant in Mariupol, while others were captured by the Russians.

Later, after long torture, the occupiers accused Svynarchuk of involvement in the shooting of local residents of Mariupol and sentenced him to life imprisonment. Oleksandr has never seen his son Zakhar, and his wife Olena has been trying to find out on her own whether her husband is alive, where he is and in what condition.

A new story on the Butusov Plus channel tells about a Ukrainian marine and his fate.
