At dawn, the soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade entered the position where the occupiers had dug in and engaged in close combat under fire from enemy thermobaric ammunition.

The assault men provided assistance to their own and continued the mopping up until the Russians were killed and three of them were captured, Censor.NET reports.

"The assault lasted until sunset," several soldiers from the 3rd company of the 2nd mech battalion recorded on their cameras. Today in the Kharkiv region, the enemy is conducting attacks in search of vulnerable areas in the defence of our units. We are destroying their manpower and not allowing them to advance," the soldiers added.
