"Azov" artillerymen about battles near New York: There are a lot of occupiers, they are constantly trying to break through. VIDEO

Artillerymen of the "Azov" Brigade spoke about the battles on the outskirts of New York, which was occupied by Russian invaders in September.

According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the material of the "Ukrainian witness".

The soldiers are using the American "M101" gun made in 1943, which, despite its age, is a good enemy destroyer.

The commander of the cannon, call sign "Werner", said that the calibre fire at Russian infantry to cover Ukrainian defenders.

"We are facing brigades formed by residents of the so-called LDPR. This morning there was a massive assault, all guns were firing. And now it's just routine work. There are a lot of enemies in this area, they are constantly trying to break through. There can be an assault in the morning, in the evening, and during the day there is constant movement and arrivals. The Russians shell the rear cities with GABs," he said.

The "M101" gun loader with the call sign "Mel" noted that the enemy was developing.

"They understand that technology is not always good. Their manpower consists mostly of people from poor regions, so their motivation is primarily money," the defender added.

He also stressed that there are still Ukrainian soldiers in Russian captivity.

"Our fighters are motivated to get theirs back. The problem is that people do not want to hear the truth, they are in their own vacuum. You have this situation in your country, so what are you waiting for? That you will be completely captured? This is a reason to take up arms and go to defend your country. There are still young guys in Russian captivity, and we need to make this public and bring them home. I don't know where else they can get the experience they gained in captivity. How many guys flew to defend Mariupol! And it worked - they took away the seriously wounded. This is the only way we must continue to try to outwit the enemy. We have to find loopholes to defeat them not by quantity, but by quality and competent actions. It's not difficult to go to a rally and remind people of the people who gave their lives for you. They deserve to be pulled out," Mel added.
