People in military uniforms sprayed gas and set fire to civilian’s car, Defense Ministry commented on incident. VIDEO
A video was shared online showing people dressed in military uniforms and police officers sprayed gas into a car and setting it on fire.
According to Censor.NET, the video was published by former People`s Deputy Ihor Mosiichuk.
"I am sending you a video for distribution of how our valiant 'heroes' of the TCR in balaclavas and 'police' are trying to spray gas and then burn a person in a car. This process is accompanied by mockery and laughter. It is noteworthy that one of the policemen is a woman, who is directly involved in this process. It's hard to imagine what they are doing to these people in the premises of the shopping centre... P.s. the event took place today in Vyshgorod, Kyiv region," Mosiichuk signed the video.
The Ministry of Defence commented on the incident.
"The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine categorically condemns any actions that contradict the law and the principles of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Regarding the incident in Vyshhorod, which was captured on video and shared on social media, the Ministry of Defence, in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, is conducting an investigation and identifying the persons involved in this situation," the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
It is noted that all those involved in this incident will be brought to justice in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.
The agency emphasises that such actions are unacceptable and undermine confidence in the Armed Forces and the security sector.
