AHILLES Regiment of Unmanned Systems has announced recruitment drive. VIDEO
The 429th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Aerial Systems 'ACHILLES' is recruiting. There are vacancies for both combat and support roles. They are particularly looking for pilots, navigators, engineers, technicians, sappers, communications specialists, electricians, system administrators, medics, drivers, clerks, construction specialists, and more."
The regiment provides equipment and vehicles. General and specialised training lasts at least 2 months. Before going on combat missions, trainees are trained with experienced crews.
All the commanders in the 429th Separate Bn of the AHILLES are combatants who have risen from the ranks of soldier to officer.
Recently, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the launch of a new military project, the Drone Line, which includes the top 5 unmanned systems units: The 429th Separate Special Forces Unit "AHILLES", the 20th Separate Special Forces Unit "K-2", the 427th Separate Special Forces Unit "RAROG", the "Birds of Magyars" and the "FENIX" regiment.
