Moscow is not going to make real peace, - Zelenskyy on night attack on Ukraine. VIDEO

On the night of 26 March 2025, there were 117 more proofs of Russia's prolongation of this war in our skies - 117 attack drones, most of which were "chessmen".

This was announced on Telegram channel of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Censor.NET reports.

According to him, most of the drones were shot down by our defenders.

"Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Cherkasy and other regions were under Russian attack. There was a large-scale drone strike on Kryvyi Rih - on a local enterprise and civilian infrastructure. In Okhtyrka, Sumy region, houses, shops and ordinary infrastructure were damaged. Communities in the Donetsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions were also shelled," he emphasises.

Zelenskyy assured that all those affected should be provided with assistance.

"But we need strong steps from the world and obvious pressure on Russia - more pressure, more sanctions from the US - to stop the Russian strikes. To carry out such large-scale strikes after ceasefire negotiations is to show everyone in the world that Moscow is not going to make a real peace. Since 11 March, there has been an American proposal for complete silence, a complete cessation of strikes. And literally every night, with its strikes, Russia repeats its no in response to the peace proposal of its partners," he adds.

Negotiations in Saudi Arabia

On 24 March, in an evening video address, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that after meeting with the Russian delegation in Saudi Arabia, the US delegation would meet again with the Ukrainian team.

We would also like to remind you that on Sunday evening, 23 March, representatives of Ukraine and the United States met in Saudi Arabia to discuss a possible partial ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.

On 24 March 2025, the US and Russian delegations held talks in Riyadh. They lasted 12 hours.

It should be noted that the points of agreement between Ukraine and the United States include: a regime of silence in the Black Sea and free navigation; an embargo on strikes on energy infrastructure; monitoring with the participation of the United States and third parties; a commitment to move towards an unconditional ceasefire; the United States will help Ukraine with the return of children, civilian hostages and the exchange of prisoners.

The US statement following the talks with Russia contains a different clause instead of the one on the return of Ukrainians from Russia's territory - facilitating the restoration of access to the world market for Russian agricultural products and fertilisers.
