A video has been published online showing fragments of a conversation with a captured Russian, Vladimir Shayakhmetov, from the 1232nd Separate Motorised Rifle Regiment.
According to Censor.NET, the occupier said that he was forced to surrender in his first battle in the Pokrovsk sector because of the threat of execution by his commanders. He also explained that he signed the contract because of a lack of money and a high probability of going to prison. He noted that his wife did not support his choice and called him foul names.
