Conflict with beating involving TCR in Lviv: military enlistment office says man escaped, taking advantage of scuffle. VIDEO
On 1 April 2025, a police unit brought a violator of military registration to one of the RTCRs and SSs in Lviv. The citizen was sent to undergo a military medical commission and, according to its conclusion, was found fit for military service.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of the Lviv RTCR and SS.
According to the TCR, after that, the man tried to escape and was detained by the military personnel who were on duty at the MMC. As a result, a fight broke out with civilians.
"Any attempts on the part of the military to explain the situation regarding the conscript proved to be futile. This, in turn, led to excessive emotions. In the general scuffle, the citizen liable for military service managed to escape. He will be put on the wanted list. The leadership of the Lviv RTCR and SS has ordered an internal investigation into this episode," the statement said.
The TCR also noted that during the incident, one of the servicemen sustained an injury to his arm from a blow inflicted by the offender. A statement was filed with the National Police about the attack on the serviceman.
The TCR also reminded of the responsibility of persons who tried to "repel" a person liable for military service by their actions.
