Sprayed gas and hit: man attacked TCR employee and police officer in Shostka

In the city of Shostka in Sumy region, a man attacked a representative of the TCR, and a policeman was injured during his detention.
This was reported by the regional police, Censor.NET informs.
Thus, the police and the TCR were conducting identity checks.
"During the check, a 23-year-old local resident behaved defiantly, refused to comply with the lawful demands of law enforcement officers and began to resist. The offender used tear gas against the TCR representative and then hit him. During the detention of the aggressive offender, one of the policemen was also injured," the statement said.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 2 of Article 345 (threat or violence against a law enforcement officer) and Part 2 of Article 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (threat or violence against an official).
He is currently in custody and faces up to 5 years in prison.
