Unmanned systems forces continue to systematically destroy the occupiers' air defences, opening up the skies for Ukrainian aviation and drones. Details of the operation:
-
Detection and strike: The published thermal imaging footage captures the moment of the complex's destruction as it moves along a forest strip. Enemy personnel were near the air defence system at the moment of arrival.
-
Target significance: The Osa air defence system is a Soviet mobile short-range complex. It is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 10km and an altitude of up to 5km. The destruction of such equipment deprives the occupiers of their "umbrella" of protection from Ukrainian UAVs and cruise missiles.
-
Nemesis masters: Since the beginning of 2026, the fighters of the 412th Brigade have demonstrated extraordinary effectiveness, destroying dozens of enemy air defence systems and radars, including the expensive Tor and Buk systems.
"USF consistently reduces the capabilities of the enemy's air defence and opens up airspace for further actions by the Defence Forces," the video commentary notes.
