Drone operators of 422nd Regiment "LUFTWAFFE" destroy 2 Buk-M1 air defence systems and 6 MESH communications antennas used to control Shaheds. VIDEO
Pilots of the 422nd Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment "LUFTWAFFE" demonstrated highly effective combat performance, delivering a series of precise strikes on key occupier targets.
As reported by Censor.NET, during combat sorties, Ukrainian defenders detected and struck important elements of the enemy’s air defence, logistics, and communications systems that supported its combat capabilities in the sector.
Thanks to the coordinated actions of the UAV operators, all targets were successfully hit, significantly weakening the enemy’s ability to control the airspace and coordinate its units.
In particular, the following were struck and destroyed:
-
2 Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile systems (a total of 3 since early March);
-
2 energy facilities used to support Russian forces;
-
2 fuel and ammunition depots;
- 6 towers with MESH communications antennas used to control Shahed drones;
- 37 satellite communications antennas and relays of various types.
The effective destruction of the enemy’s air defence systems and communications nodes opens up additional opportunities for further actions by the Defence Forces and reduces the enemy’s ability to conduct reconnaissance and operate drones.
- It was also reported that drones from the 422nd "LUFTWAFFE" regiment struck two of the occupiers’ locomotives in Zaporizhzhia.
