A video has been published online showing the true methods used to "maintain discipline" within the ranks of the Russian occupying army. The footage captures a Russian commander carrying out a public punishment of five of his subordinates, tying them to trees in a forest belt.

According to Censor.NET, the video shows the enraged officer beating the helpless soldiers and subjecting them to verbal abuse. "Have you shit yourself yet!?" the commander shouts at one of the tied-up men, to which he merely replies meekly: "I’m guilty, comrade...". The rest of the "punished" soldiers also offer no resistance, enduring the abuse and beatings.
