Drone destroyed "assault" "Volga" carrying drunk occupiers, which was being inspected at Russian checkpoint. VIDEO

The "HORA" reconnaissance strike group has released a bizarre video showing the destruction of a "rare specimen" of enemy equipment – a blue GAZ-24 "Volga".

According to Censor.NET, a group of drunk Russian occupiers decided to use the vintage car to drive to a neighbouring settlement to buy alcohol.

The invaders’ misadventures began when, on their return journey, they took a wrong turn at a junction and accidentally drove into their own last checkpoint. There, Russian soldiers, failing to recognise their own men, forced the "travellers" face-down onto the tarmac and began searching the car.

Ukrainian drone operators, observing this scene, decided to ‘help’ the occupiers complete the inspection.

"A group of drunk Russians drove to a neighbouring town for more booze in a nice blue Volga. On the way back, they took a wrong turn at the junction and drove straight into their own last checkpoint. There, they were pinned face-down on the tarmac and started being searched. We obviously enjoyed watching this, but we couldn’t help but intervene. Well, the rest is in the video," reads the comment on the video.
