Ukraine’s long-range sanctions have reached the Moscow region, - Zelenskyy. VIDEO

Ukrainian long-range sanctions have reached the Moscow region.

This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram, reports Censor.NET.

Zelenskyy’s reaction to the strikes on the Moscow region

"Our responses to Russia’s prolongation of the war and strikes on our cities and communities are entirely justified. This time, Ukrainian long-range strikes have reached the Moscow region, and we are making it clear to the Russians: their state must end this war. Ukrainian drone and missile manufacturers are continuing their work. I am grateful to the SSU and all the Ukrainian Defence Forces for their accuracy. The distance from Ukraine’s state border is over 500 km. The concentration of Russian air defences in the Moscow region is the highest," the head of state emphasises.

What led up to this?

  • It was previously reported that drones launched a massive attack on Moscow and the surrounding region: a technology park, a factory and a fuel filling station were hit.
  • It was also noted that a fire broke out at Sheremetyevo Airport as a result of the drone attack.
