Propagandist Prilepin whinges about Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes on occupiers’ logistics: "Earlier they used to be able to get to front line". VIDEO
Footage has been published online showing Zakhar Prilepin, one of the Kremlin’s most notorious Z-media figures, complaining about the problems facing the Russian Federation’s occupying army.
According to Censor.NET, during one of his speeches, Prilepin effectively acknowledged the effectiveness of the Ukrainian Defence Forces’ strikes against the logistics of Russian troops in the occupied territories.
According to the propagandist, roads that were previously considered relatively safe for the occupiers to travel on are now littered with destroyed military equipment.
"In the last month and a half alone, the best roads – roughly speaking, the Luhansk–Donetsk route via Horlivka and a number of other roads that were always safe – are now littered with burnt-out vehicles"
Prilepin also acknowledged that the Ukrainian military is increasingly cutting off the Russian army’s supply routes.
"All the internal roads are starting to be cut off, and this is a process that has begun and is now in full swing."
He said that strikes by the Defence Forces are causing serious problems with fuel supplies and the movement of military equipment.
"We have to realise for ourselves: you can’t bring in fuel, it’s impossible to get through, and vehicles are being set alight."
What is more, whilst Russian equipment previously had at least some chance of reaching the front line, the situation has now changed significantly.
"Before, they could at least get as far as the front line, but now they can’t even get there, as the vehicles are destroyed immediately."
It seems that whilst Russian propaganda continues to talk of a "successful offensive", the propagandists themselves are increasingly having to explain why the roads behind the occupiers’ lines are littered with burnt-out equipment, and why neither fuel nor vehicles are reaching the front line.
