Russia, the so-called ‘energy superpower’, is increasingly surprising its own citizens not with cheap fuel, but with queues lasting several hours at petrol stations.

According to Censor.NET, a Russian man has posted a video showing a very long queue of cars at one of Moscow’s petrol stations.

According to local residents, in some regions people have to wait several hours to fill up, and the petrol shortage has now reached the Russian capital.

It seems that the consequences of the blows to the Russian oil refining industry are becoming increasingly difficult to conceal, even behind propaganda stories.
