Information is circulating on social media and in local media about severe traffic congestion and kilometer-long queues forming at border crossing points with Romania for entry into Ukraine.

According to Censor.NET, the situation is being exacerbated by difficult weather conditions – people are forced to spend long periods in the open sun amid the abnormal summer heatwave.

"Huge queues at the border with Romania: people are constantly exposed to the extreme heat and are forced to spend the night there," local communities report on social media.
