Russians deployed attack helicopter during strike on Ryazan oil refinery, but drones reached their target. VIDEO
On the night of 6 September, operators from the 1st Separate Air Defence Centre and the 414th Separate Brigade ‘Madyar’s Birds’, together with other units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, struck the Ryazan Oil Refinery.
According to Censor.NET, the Ryazan Oil Refinery is one of Russia’s largest oil refineries, with a capacity of around 17 million tonnes of crude oil per year.
The plant produces petrol, diesel and aviation fuel, as well as other petroleum products used, in particular, to supply the Russian military-industrial complex and the army.
Last night, in an attempt to counter Ukrainian drones over Ryazan, the Russians even deployed an attack helicopter. However, it did not reach the refinery.
In the video, the Russian woman also adds: "It’s not a helicopter, it’s a drone."
Ukrainian defenders note that the distance to the target is around 500 km.
