Switzerland Cancels Visit of the Head of Russian Parliament

"Due to the political situation the meeting of Chairman of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin and President of the National Council of Switzerland Rudy Lustenberger scheduled for September 23 and 24 will not take place," the statement posted on the official website of the country's legislative body notes.

The statement says that the visit of Naryshkin to Switzerland cannot take place due to "a change in the political situation in Europe."
