War in Ukraine can only end with defeat of Putin, - Johnson

The war in Ukraine can only end with the defeat of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Russian troops should be pushed back to the actual border on February 24. Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukrainians cannot accept any other outcome, especially after the brutality they have endured.
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson writes about this in a column for the Wall Street Journal, Censor.NET reports with reference to TSN.
"Since the war can only end in one way, the question is how quickly we will reach the inevitable end. The world cannot continue to watch Ukrainians being terrorized with missiles and drones. It is a moral abomination when millions are left without heat, electricity, or water night after night, not to mention the continuous killing of civilians. And the longer Putin continues his senseless attacks, the longer the global economic crisis will last," the former British prime minister believes.
He also noted the huge US contribution to military aid to Ukraine: the States provided at least $17 billion in military aid. Great Britain allocated about 2.3 billion pounds.
"I know these costs are painful in times of financial constraints, but time is money, and the longer this goes on, the more we will all be paying for military support. So let's share the burden and speed up the solution. First, let's give the Ukrainians the necessary help against air attacks. "Kyiv needs unmanned aerial vehicles to detect drone and missile launch sites, as well as anti-aircraft missiles to take them out," Johnson believes.
He considers Putin's use of nuclear weapons unlikely.
"The truth is that he is afraid of escalation. It was not a threat from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization that 'provoked' him to invade.
These were decades of lethargy and indecision of the West regarding the status of Ukraine. The West atoned for this failure with a stunning display of coherence and unity since February. We must be stronger and braver," Johnson wrote.
