The Russian marines near Vuhledar in the Donetsk region suffered serious losses. The command wants to fill the losses with mobilized.
This is stated in the report of British intelligence, which was published on the Twitter of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain, Censor.NET informs.
Intelligence has published a satellite image from the Vuhledar direction. It depicts destroyed Russian equipment, which was probably part of the 155th Marine Brigade.
This brigade is considered an elite army in Russia. However, unlike the airborne infantry, the 155th brigade was not deployed in Ukraine as a single large group.
British intelligence notes that the marines of the Russian Federation performed some of the most difficult tactical tasks and suffered huge losses. At the same time, the Russian command decided to fill the losses with inexperienced mobilized.
"This lack of experience almost certainly increases the tendency of Russian officers to micromanage, which, in turn, reduces operational flexibility. There is a real possibility that units of the 155th brigade will again be thrown into new attacks near Vuhledar," the report says.
