Ukrainian airspace will be opened immediately after end of hostilities, - UkSATSE

Ukrainian airspace will be opened immediately after the end of hostilities, Eurocontrol’s forecast for the opening of airspace in 2029 is an assumption.
This was reported by the State Air Traffic Service Enterprise, Censor.NET reports.
"Ukrainian airspace will be opened immediately after the end of hostilities and the victory of Ukraine," the message reads.
Ukraerorus explained that the forecast of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) on the resumption of flights in the European region is made twice a year and updates the 7-year forecasts for air traffic in general in the region. It is based on the current situation in the aviation industry and the configuration of routes, including the closure of Ukrainian airspace for civilian flights due to hostilities, significant restrictions on flights in the airspace of Moldova (also for security reasons), Russia and Belarus (due to sanctions bans), a significant decrease flights in Poland, the Baltic, Scandinavian countries, and a corresponding increase in the intensity of flights in the south-eastern part of Europe in order to fly over closed areas.
These factors are believed to be in place until 2029, "due to the lack of other validated forecasting inputs at present."
After the appearance of new objective factors - the end of the war and the reformatting of the route network - the Eurocontrol forecast will be updated using new data.
UkSATSE also assured that Ukraine is fully preparing for the resumption of flights in its airspace. Together with Eurocontrol, the Action Plan for the restoration of air navigation services in the airspace of Ukraine was developed, which covers the full range of necessary components of the process: infrastructure restoration, operational procedures, aviation safety, personnel training, certification, interaction with international partners, financing, etc.
