Spain will help Ukraine on its way to EU, - Sanchez
During its six-month presidency of the EU Council, Spain will support Ukraine in its European integration.
This was stated by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to the press service of the Spanish governmentї.
Sanchez emphasized that the EU countries have demonstrated a common determination to continue to provide Ukraine with all the assistance it needs, whether in the political, economic, humanitarian or military spheres.
"As I said last Thursday to President Zelenskyy in Moldova, Spain will continue to work, as Sweden has done, to help Ukraine on its way to the European Union," he said.
Sanchez also added that Russia's unjust and unjustified war against Ukraine has made the European Union realize the need to further advance reforms, which will be at the center of European debate during Spain's presidency of the Council.
