As a result of the Russians’ explosion of the Kakhovka HPP, production processes at the "Crimean Titan" plant in Armiansk have been disrupted to a critical level.

This was reported by the Presidential Mission in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Censor.NET informs.

"The occupiers consider it impossible to resume work in the minimum proper mode. Information about the possible shutdown of Crimean Titan is circulating on the territory of occupied Armiansk," the statement said.

The Mission noted that the occupiers' engineers had been mining the plant's workshops and territory for several days.

"A terrorist attack at the Crimean Titan plant, which the Russian invaders are preparing for, would mean an artificial man-made disaster. About 200 tonnes of process ammonia is used in the refrigeration equipment of Crimean Titan. In the event of an explosion at the plant, an ammonia cloud, depending on the wind direction, will cover the surrounding areas in half an hour. First of all, the occupied Armiansk, Krasnoperekopsk district and southern districts of Kherson region will be under threat," the Mission stressed.

They urged citizens to be cautious and evacuate away from the plant if possible, as well as to familiarise themselves with the rules of conduct in the event of an ammonia release.
