The partners will support Ukraine as long as it is necessary. Ukraine’s membership in NATO is already a settled issue.

This was stated by Jake Sullivan, adviser to the US president on national security issues, in an interview with CBS, Censor.NET reports.

"And finally, yes, we said very simply: the future of Ukraine is in NATO. This is serious. This is not subject to discussion. This is what 31 NATO members have committed to," Sullivan noted.

He also noted the progress of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the counteroffensive and added that the Ukrainian military is doing everything to weaken the occupation army of the Russian Federation.

Sullivan also assured that the West is working to increase sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation, weakening its defense and industrial base.

We will remind, according to the results of the NATO summit in Vilnius, which took place on July 11-12, Ukraine received a promise that it will become a member of the Alliance when "all conditions are met."
